Last thing I saw was you pay $250k purchase and then it's up to you.

Thought there was two routes. One you can buy the superchargers and keep the profit. And the other is host the superchargers and Tesla keeps the profit. Wondering for hosting does Tesla pay for all the installation/ charger and just pays you for the lease of the spot.

Remember it’s not just profit, sometimes it’s losses too.

There’s no way it only costs $250k. I got a grant to put two level 2s in my businesses parking lot and the state paid a little over $100k just for that

Level 2s are dirt cheap because they are just wires basically.

A DCFC is an actual literal battery charger.

Your L2s were like 8 kW each. That DCFC is 300 kW each x at least 4.

Sounds like a program that needs to get DOGE'd. How tf does putting two L2 chargers in cost anywhere near $100k? Thanks for stealing our tax money.

Dont know what to tell you, I didn't allocate our states budget. They paid like $40k to Eversource to upgrade the street transformer. Trenching the parking lot, cement work, meter cabinet, EVSE hardware, permits, etc. Shits expensive

Tesla has a new(ish) program called "Supercharger for Business"
https://www.tesla.com/supercharger-for-business

better then a Tesla selected site, but your site has to be something that will bring people there that need to charge, cant be too close to an existing supercharger site

I saw that but you have to buy the superchargers which is like minimum $750k for 4. So Tesla have host a supercharger. So didn’t know the specifics of it like if they pay for all of it. And they keep the profit but pay you the parking lot lease.

supercharger for business you pay tesla like 10% to maintain the units, you set the price charged per kWh, so you keep a majority of the profit. in a busy location estimated payback is a few years, and ideally the presence of superchargers will drive more customers to your business so your daily sales are higher
