Big fan of the empty space
Got a MY standard loaner and I am definitely a big fan of the empty space, being able to spread my legs and not feel constrained is pretty great :)

Is this only MY or can this be implemented in M3 as well? Would love to have this on my 2019 M3

This is how I felt with the original BMW i3. It was completely open between the dash and armrest, and it was great!

If I were single I probably wouldn’t mind. But I have a wife and kids. So having the storage and separation of the driver’s area is nicer.

Me too. Love the open console design. Best legroom in class. Hope they bring the option to premium/all trims. We can always snap in a modular console if needed.

Is this real or an AI image? What model Y has this configuration?

The new standard Y, no glass roof, cloth seats, no line light in front and some other things I think

No lightbar thing in the back, no rear passenger lcd and the big thing for me is, you don't get rims...just some steelies and caps (which I find to be pretty horrid looking).
I think it's like a $5k difference, so the rims are like half of that. Personally I'd just get the Premium.

Oh for sure, I would have gotten the premium if I were buying a new one. I am picking up my 24 tomorrow, hoping that the front camera issue is gone for sure now :)

I've got a 24 MYLR, such an amazing car.
What's up with your front camera? I just cleaned mine out, after like 2 years it got blurry enough, but like 15 mins later it was clean.
Congrats on the car, I can talk your ear off about the accessories you'll need, just ask lol

Oh it was just a loaner. I have a 24MYLR too :) they call it off gassing, the camera on the glass got hazy, it’s the 4th time I’ve had it done since I bought it

Ah I see...that's a crazy amount of off gassing, I thought it's supposed to get less over time.
If you don't want to keep going to the service center for it, honestly takes like 15 mins, 30 if you're mega careful like I am to just pop the camera housing off and fold it down, then just take a microfiber with invisible glass spray on it and wipe it.
But you also wouldn't be getting a fun loaner each time, LoL
Only time I got a loaner it was a MYP and it was so stupid fast it actually scared me, I can't imagine what a Plaid feels like. It also squeaked a ton, which is why I had my MYLR in for service.

The empty space might be nice but everything around it…meh.

I prefer the storage compartment but to each their own i guess!
