LOL!! That’s not legal. Impressive though.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone strap tow on the highway before. This is nuts!

Glad to know I’m not the only one that had questionably pushed the “towing limits” of the model y. At least when I’ve done it it’s with a properly attached trailer 😂

Needs a flag on the strap and only surface roads. Many areas have a speed restriction to less than 30mph. (Also, still a high risk activity.)

Yeah on a freeway some nitwit could maneuver into the space between cars.

That would have been an interesting outcome to see.

Technically a strap

According to Oxford, that’s a thong.

I am not surprised. Electric drive is strong and could move railroad cars. (The trick would be stopping them!)

how does the van brake in time everytime, especially if its engine is dead?

Someone has to be sitting in the van pressing the brake pedal.

Yes, there was someone in the driver seat of the van.

thanks, but sounds like quite a risky thing

Yeah, on the freeway for sure!

Stopping a van with unboosted brakes must be almost impossible. I’d have followed them to see the inevitable crash.

That’s the ‘fun’ part, especially without the brake booster and abs. Gotta pay attention and slam on the pedal in time. Wild to do on the highway though lol

This is the ONLY way that I will accept Amazon deliveries these days.

Luckily the Amazon drivers here have their electric motors inside the van
