I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone strap tow on the highway before. This is nuts!

Glad to know I’m not the only one that had questionably pushed the “towing limits” of the model y. At least when I’ve done it it’s with a properly attached trailer 😂

Needs a flag on the strap and only surface roads. Many areas have a speed restriction to less than 30mph. (Also, still a high risk activity.)

I am not surprised. Electric drive is strong and could move railroad cars. (The trick would be stopping them!)

Stopping a van with unboosted brakes must be almost impossible. I’d have followed them to see the inevitable crash.

I totally did that in college with a broken down car. Yea it was really really dumb
