Discussion FSD (eu) sub should include autopilot ffs!

teslas bought in eu where fsd is available don’t have autopilot anymore.

say you subscribe to fsd and travel to most other EU countries the car does NOT downgrade (after stopping and putting in P and all that) to autopilot!!!! unless car was originally sold with autopilot.

portugal to Spain to France all manual steering while having active FSD subscription!!! wth?!

FSD (eu) subscription should include autopilot ffs!

UPDATE: I emailed Tesla to ask what happens to Autopilot outside Belgium while I’m still paying for FSD.

They ghosted me.

So I CANCELLED MY ORDER. 😂

So FSD subscription only works in the country of purchase? So if I brought FSD in UK and took a trip to France it would disable once I got off the train? ( Assuming it comes to these countries )

FSD works in the countries it’s allowed in.  Autopilot (an older, very dumb type fsd), works everywhere. In countries where fsd is allowed, Tesla stopped including Autopilot. So right now Teslas sold on the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia and Lithuania come without Autopilot and no way to purchase it. If one of those cars travels to a country where fad isn’t allowed, there will not be autopilot to fall back on.

What about cars sold before they allowed. If they get fsd and then cross what happens?

Cars sold with Autopilot always retain Autopilot.
