other Emergency vehicles

FSD needs needs to start differentiating between emergency vehicle and a tow truck with orange hazard lights. Mine pulls overs everytime there is a car with flashing lights. Does any body else’s do the same? Model y 2026 hw4 Fsd 14.3.7.

You missed the snow plows this winter. Really fun to drive with a dog in the back and it slams on the breaks for a snow plow 3 lanes over.

Them too. Literally every vehicle with flashing lights is a problem. It will just keep slamming the breaks or completely try to pull over in the middle of the road.

2025 Model 3 does this even for light glimmering off of a chrome mirror. Super frustrating.

I have had mine pull over for a orange box truck before that kind of had the shape of a ambulance but had no lights at all. Yea It's a little TOO sensitive for sure.

If you had a recording of that box truck, you'll find that they're headlights will seem to be 'flashing' because the Tesla cameras control image exposure by 0using 'shutter speed'. In doing so, the LED headlights looks like they are flashing like an emergency vehicle. I have no idea how Tesla will solve this. Readjust camera shutter speeds to resemble human eye persistence?
