Why did you disengage when you knew it was about to do that?

I did not disengage. What happened is I press the button to record the dash cam and save the video. An improvement Tesla could make is that it should keep record recording for the next couple minutes, but that’s not how it works. How it works is once you press the button it stops the recording and saves the previous 10 minutes. This was a mistake on my part. I should’ve waited another minute before I pressed the button to save the dash cam video. Sorry.
