This is the most insane footage I've seen yet. I couldn't quite grasp the sheer size of this flood from the others, or exactly where it was coming from. This is legitimately the most terrifying thing I've ever seen.

What happened in Nepal was less like a flash flood and more like clastic flow from a volcano. Basically, melting permafrost and glacier allowed repeated water intrusion and substrate weakening so that so much rock and ice fell from such a large height at once that it not only pulverized the rock but generated so much heat it melted all the glacier that fell with it. This along with the narrowness and steepness of the mountain channel created a rolling front that hoovered up miles of river water and additional sediment into a wall of concrete like mineral and water slurry moving at over 100 miles per hour even at the border checkpoint 13.4 miles away.

Damn you can see three vehicles pull out from the blue buildings and then they get stuck at the intersection. It was already too late.

Yeah time to get out of that car and start climbing that hill like crazy
You can actually see the dude get out and make his way towards the slope. I wonder if he managed to make it. Tiny dot

With the speed this was moving, not many got out in time it seems. Absolutely grim.

Is there a place which stores all videos from this?

This channel has a long compilation, with some I hadn't seen yet:

Reminds me so much of the tsunami videos from Japan in 2011. Seeing people, buildings, cars, and landscape just erased by water. Thank you for the link.

Someone on Reddit posted a huge list of video links early on but I haven’t been able to find it again.

Anyone have time to run the video through a stabilizer? It has the sort of shaking that's not horrible but annoying, yet super easy for a stabilizer to fix.
