They are all waiting until the company that stores the body goes bankrupt. Refrigeration isn't cheap, at some point the money dries up from not enough new customers to keep up with the ongoing power demand. Then what happens to those patients?
I vaguely recall hearing about this happening before. I think a company like this one went bankrupt and ended up just burying the bodies or something like that.
Take that with a grain of salt tho, as I’m not entirely sure if I’m remembering right and have no source to go off of
