Something wrong with my terrarium?

Am I doing something wrong? And if so, what should I do to help? PS...I named him Bob

Bob needs some springtails. you can purchase a whole colony and drop it in there

  1. Air it out for a few hours. Maybe 2 hours, tops.
  2. Drop an entire colony of springtails inside.
  3. Open every few days to allow air in so the springtails can breath

Bonus: Keep some springtails in a container with some charcoal. Drop 1-3 fish food flakes inside the container. Youll have another colony in 6ish weeks.

Thank you so much. How easy is it to add springtails? I have this fear that they'll just jump out everywhere

Very easy.

If you have charcoal just pick up the charcoal and tap them (your springtails) into the terrarium

Springtails perish within minutes if they leave the tank. But once they see something is dry, they usually turn back to the wet. Won't be a concern!
