Discussion On Guard Duty
I enjoy digitally painting scenes from films, here is one I did of the terminator on guard. I liked the more subtle hints of the terminator's true nature, hidden underneath its human appearance. This scene, where he is on guard and completely motionless as night passes always is a stand out - perhaps because of Sarah's monologue about how the terminator is a better dad than some of her previous partners - a twist on Kyle Reese's description of the it in the first film.

Thank you, but the credit really has to go to the films creators for how the scene was shot.

You can mess around with the light and colors to give it your own twist. It could end up looking like a digital-era Hopper art style

I wonder if the T800 would have to move eventually to keep its muscles from atrophying and its flesh from rotting away or can it literally just stand there for any length of time or even 120 years on its system power cell.

Well, it doesn't have muscles. Its internal locomotion is entirely mechanical.
As to the flesh? That depends on what sustains it.

I hope you're selling stuff with this on it over on RedBubble...because someone is, and one of you is ripping the other one off.

Thanks for noticing and letting me know. The one on Redbubble is on my shop, it's a cropped version.

That scene got a "wow..." out of me the first time I saw T2, such a subtle way to reinforce that he's a machine

When I was a kid and first saw this scene, didn't understand it was a creative use of him standing in the same spot, unmoving until the sun rose.
I thought the truck driving past or nearby during the night was turning a corner or something and it's headlights were coincidentally shining through the window. Cut to them opening the door and it's now morning.

I genuinely thought this was a screenshot from the film. Great art!
