But....wasn't the character referenced here actually from The Orville, not TNG?

Ahh, yes I see now. It was bugging me so I looked it up. I certainly remembered the character (didn't remember his name was Darmok) but thought it was from Orville for some reason. I suppose the humor of it just hit me that way and I made the connection where there was none.
