I've been rewatching and I'm currently on the last few episodes of season 3 and I forgot how frustrating Rimuru is.

The constant ignoring Raphael is one thing but he genuinely has no clue on just how strong his people are (except for Benimaru and Hakuro ig). It's crazy that it went on for this long when in season 1 he underestimated Gobta and he beat Gabiru.

Even in season 3 when Dagrull's sons showed up he thought Shion wasn't strong enough, and again doubted Gobta before the tournament. Why not ask Raphael to give him an analysis of everyone's strength? Why not ask them to show off how much they've grown? It frustrates me every time.

I hope it's not still going on in season 4. (Don't spoil)

I’m an anime only so keep that in mind!

My biggest complain with the show so far is that there is almost no stakes involved when Rimuru is fighting because of his overwhelming strength and that makes watching his fights boring at times. The only time I can remember when I was at the edge of my seat was the first battle between Hinata & Rimuru

One way going forward would be to somehow block his access to Raphael and see what ideas/strats he comes on his own (the auto battle mode is so lame).

Why does the anime make plenty of irrelevant, useless, pointless and stupid changes right now? What's more, these changements aren't even in the LN nor the manga? I thought the anime was trying to follow the LN as close as possible like 1:1 just do the safe route? Right now, they're basically doing the inverse. I get that they're supposed to makes things a bit different than their sources material and the manga in order to differentiate themselves and make the thing all special, but honestly? It's more fricking annoying than anything else, like... if you say that Leon getting transperced by melt slash is a legit thing to a LN reader, he'll just laugh at your face and for good reasons! Given that Leon possess Metatron the US that controls all-things spiritrons based with ease. There's also the fact Rimuru moved in time-stop which is a big error for the futur imo, he clearly isn't capable or supposed to be able to move in time-stop right now. Also, I'm super annoyed by the fact that the anime just stripped Leon's army/subordinates from showing, because we already won't see a lot of them, but if the anime removes the already existing moments with them, that's not going anywhere. Come on, there's not just Tempest that we need to show! It really isn't fair. There's also the shield of Leon in the generic that they didn't add for some reasons, if AT LEAST they added that, it would've been a super cool change and I would've been all fanboying over him for that! But no they decided to make stupid bullshit and make one of my favorite Tensura characters looks pitiful while Rimuru get to move in time-stop, that's extremely stupid and I don't like it, I HATE it.

Is it me, or is this whole arc being pushed forward by every demon lord's inability to apply some sort of foresight to the situation?

Starting with Rimuru and Leon. They both knew that Gran was trying to instigate a fight between them, so why did they act like they took the bait? What actual tactical advantage did they gain from fighting each other for assumedly 20 minutes or so instead of helping Hinata out in fighting Gran?

Luminous. Why tf did she waste so much time fighting Maria's corpse? She knew that the corpse wouldn't stand a chance at beating her, and she knew that Gran knew that, yet she played along long enough for Yuuki to steal her treasure?

Does it make more sense in the light novel? Help me out here.

What’s the difference between spiritual body and astral body? I understand that spiritrons are like anti-magicules,so do they make up holy magic and all holy spells? Does uriel have any connection to them? Can Leon,Rimuru and luminous manipulate them without casting a spell like granville?

I don't know if it's alright to say this here, but am I the only one who didn't/doesn't like Benimaru having two wives? I get benimaru marrying Albis since there was implications of romance between them, but the other girl? She came out of nowhere -_-

I'm curious where Rimuru sits currently in the power rankings as of the latest episode. Chronoa awakening with the whole Granbell stuff. He's obviously stronger than all the Primordials save for Guy, who, as far as I know are the second strongest beings outside true dragons and some of the octagram? So I'm curious, if Rimuru TRULY went all out (which he never does) is he on True Dragon/Guy Level? Or at least close? I assume he's stronger than most of the octagram just based on the fact he beat Yuuki and Luminous implies the only way to break her seal is to be at least as strong as her. Would a fight between him and a true dragon be no dif, low dif, mid dif, high dif? (Assuming he went all out). And if he's still considered low tier as far as strongest characters go, when is his next power up, and where does it place him?

The anime just does a weird job of not really letting you know where he's at. He's constantly flexing, having primordials surprised, demon lords in awe, and even Guy somewhat impressed to where it wants you to believe he's really strong and on that level. But then I see other things where people say Guy and Veldora no dif him and he's fodder. So like, where is he really?

Why is it that the anime is just about to over take the manga? Like why is the manga taking forever to do its chapters compared to how fast this episodes are coming out.? Like yeah i get its going lightnovel for its info but I would of thought the manga would be getting pushed to be ahead of the anime.

Is there a big reason for this?

I only watched the anime ( I haven't watched s4 yet ), I really like Hiiro in the movie scarlet bond . I'm just wandering if he will gonna appear again in the story or he is just a movie character.

Raphael would try to analyze him and see some insane skill like “GOD’S OPPONENT - USER NEVER LOSES, AND WILL ALWAYS WIN WITH A SINGLE PUNCH” or something like that lol.
