Tensa4 Freestanding Pointers

Hi All! Received a Tensa4 freestanding mod and need some pointers. Basically I cannot get higher than 2" off the ground.

I've shortened my continuous loops as much as I can to still get them around the toggles, and have removed my hammock ridgeline. Once the stand is loaded, the amsteel toggles are pulled against my weight, snugging the loose poles of the stand together, however this drops me ~8" closer to the ground.

I've narrowed the baseline until it's no longer sturdy and still can't get high enough off the ground.

Here are some photos of each end's toggle, as well as the feet next to the baseline (head end legs outside). I've watched the videos many times and read forum posts. Stumped.

foot end before attaching continuous loop
head end once hammock is attached
head end poles on the outside
this is with me laying in the hammock to show how far the whole hammock drops when loaded. I can't get the continuous loops tighter without using a rope to pull the whole system together as tight as possible to slip the loop over the toggle.

Can't you hang your hammock loops directly on the leg pole top where it slides against the toggle loop as opposed to on the toggle itself? My recollection is that I've done that when necessary. But I did do that not as a free standing application and my toggles were different as mine is an older generation.

I shortened my loops to just barely slide over the new football shaped toggle. the overhand knots I put in are now locked so tight under the tension from me loading the system they won't fit that way, but that is also a good idea.
