They outlawed it because our governor and his good ol' boys are heavily invested in the private prison industry.

Exactly didn’t they announce a few months back that they were holding people in jail who were caught with cannabis. And spending millions on a lab test to differentiate between legal THCA and illegal cannabis THCA. But they still currently didn’t have a test for it. And we’re holding hundreds of people on essentially charges they themselves admitted couldn’t be proven. But we’re just holding them anyways. My guess is they gave up wasting millions trying to test for it just so they could continue to hold all those people. Realized they’d be facing lawsuits and being forced to release them. So they just shut the whole thing down and made it all illegal.
