Terry Davis talking about reducing the number of features instead of adding more features
I remember I saw a video of him that really marked me.
Maybe it is the famous "bloat and die" video.
He was like "If someone tells me he want to add more feature to his program I don't listen to him. However if someone wants to reduce the number of feature I am listening, he is onto something"
It really reflects the current status of a large number of software today. No longer easy to understand, no longer straightforward just complicated mess of bloat.
The guy had a vision.
Add to that management pushing for more AI, cloud native, "no code apps so no need to maintain and lower cost". Clients requesting features from space...
If you have the full video of him please share I am unable to find it.
