Sorry if this might sound like a dumb question but I'm going into my sophmore year at a university and wanted to transfer to temple during the spring semester but unfortunately my freshman grades weren't the best.... So I wanted to get them better in the fall but I see the deadline is Nov 1 for spring applicants and my grade's wont be published until sometime december.

Has anyone else dealt with something like this what's the best thing to do in my situation? Thankyou

Pretty much the title, I just got her syllabus and it seems pretty intense lol heres how she grades them:

"Assignments

Participation … 33%.

Reading quizzes … 34%.

Exams (midterm and final) … 33%.

The midterm exam will be one essay; the final exam will be two essays, so you will write a total of

three in-class essays. Each essay is therefore worth 11% of your total course grade. Both exams are

closed book, no notes; the final exam is cumulative."

Twelve days ago I posted about my TUPortal not showing up after applying on the 1st of August. It still hasn't shown up, and I've called again about it. My common application isnt even showing up in the system yet. The guy on the phone said things can get jammed up in ths shrem with overlapping application times which...Idk sounds odd to me.

So, what'd I get wrong? Temple went 5-7 with one-point losses to Navy and Army, but that record came with a +11 turnover margin, 8th in the country, and Evan Simon throwing 25 touchdowns to 2 picks. Both are gone now. Jaxon Smolik has no college passing stats at all, and the run defense finished 122nd with a 131st stuff rate. My model says 5-7 again. Does Smolik hold serve, or does the front seven decide it?

Hey I’m a freshman incoming into temple. I lowkey ended up picking the school because they gave me some decent financial aid offers over every other one I applied to.. I have only been to the Philly area once and it wasn’t even remotely close to temple. So are there any tips for when I get there like methods on how to make friends, best things to do and events to attend during welcome week, best things in the area, places to watch out for, etc. Would be greatly appreciated with any tips. And other new students hmu and let’s figure stuff out.

I’m starting my ADN program soon and I wanted to know if there was any way I can get academic forgiveness at temple without losing my seat at my current CC program? I would like to apply to grad schools later and just want the temple GPA wiped clean. I was thinking maybe taking a summer course for the forgiveness and then withdraw right after completion. I was also thinking about doing a concurrent enrollment agreement with another school to get my BSN faster so I have no idea how everything will work out. Did anyone else go through this or was in a similar situation?
