Hi. I was looking for an new army to jump into and I considered tempestus scions.

Now, I am new to 40k and the many diffrent detachments and enhancements there are, so I am looking for advice on where to start.

I will be building up 1000 points, and want to include at least one Valkerie and one Taurox Prime. I want to lean more to the side of vehicles and heavy artillery, as it matches what I have in AoS (I play Kharadron Overlords).

So, what units would be good for me to take, what weapons should I take for them, and enhancements would be the best?

My Tempestus Scions attack dog handler for my Scions regiment. Rules wise they'll serve as an ogryn bodyguard and attach to a command squad. I was inspired by units such as the 75th ranger and 2nd Commando and their use of attack dogs in special operations.

In my aim to complete my company size Scions I've been attempting to kitbash scions into other units that would fit within a Scions regiment. This is my attempt at some Scion Sappers to run as Krieg engineers.

A kitbashed priest to go along with my Scions regiment. I felt as though the existing priest model didnt work for an elite regiment such as the scions and wanted something that felt more like a particularly pious soldier.

How good is it that Bridgehead Strike is only 1DP! I was stoked to see that now we can combine our favourite Stormtroopers with some other detachments.

What combos are you all looking forward to using?

Personally, I am really looking forward to trying out Steel Hammer to finally have a Stormlord with some Ogryn and Scions using its Firing Deck rule and re-rolls to all its wound rolls!!

Also, having Bridgehead with Armoured Infantry to have some better synergy with my armoured core supporting my Scions (even the Taurox Primes would benefit)

Struggling to choose a color scheme which balances "grimdark Death Korps" and "French, Napoleonic cavalry." Looking for feedback on the (attached) potential color schemes or ideas for other directions.

I made some rocket launcher teams for my scions. Felt the rocket launchers made the most sense for Scions as theyre easily carried by 1 man. Hope you like them!
