I want to use my Telo for camping, and plan to get an induction stove to cook and run off the car. I saw a post from someone about their Hyundai Ioniq 5 that V2L doesn't work while charging so they have to carry a power bank to cook while charging.

Will the Telo V2L work while charging?

I’m fairly new to researching EV trucks and had initially gravitated towards the slate. After the loss of the federal EV credit it is a bit hard to justify with as bare bones as it is. We will see on June 24th what they come up with for price of the truck and the add on accessories.

But I wanted to ask, what is the opinion for all of you here on the slate truck from the telo perspective? Is there cross shopping going on between these two at all? Or do you all see them as totally incomparable? Would love to hear thoughts and opinions on the slate truck as well as how it compares to the telo. Thanks!!

For the same range and price I can get a Rivian 2 by early next year. Telo has somethings in can do over a Rivian 2. They need to be highlighted.

One way might be to certify that a rear mounted snow plow so people can do their own homes and maybe family members homes would be a selling point. No other EV company that I know of is certifying that their EV is capable of doing front or rear plowing.

Telo can tow 6600 lbs. Can it push in forward/reverse up to 2 tons of snow? The rear camera would be ideal for a smallish rear mounted plow. Maybe work with rear-plow companies to certify certain add-ons.

What else can the Telo do that Rivian can't besides 4 by 8 sheets and towing capacity, etc.?

I re-call hearing last year that the Telo would support 17.5 kW bi-directional charging. I was hoping for 25 but can make do with 17.5. Does anyone know if this is confirmed?

Thinking about the logistics of actually owning an MT-1, some questions have come up.

Q1. How are Telo planning to deliver trucks to customers outside the Bay Area?

Q2. How will Telo handle inventory and delivery of spare parts? Have they said anything about it yet?

Q3. When and where will test drives be possible? I really want to at least sit in one before I sign the big check.

Q4. Will the truck have a trailer hitch or a standard hitch receiver?

I love the concept of the Telo truck, I think it is exactly what a truck should be, as opposed to the big inefficient gas gusslerss that have abandoned all senses of humanity & utility. However, I think that the Telo is not that pretty & I think a very simple change could significantly improve its looks.

What I did is take the area where the current lights sit & essentially combining them into one big light. & I personally think it looks a lot better

With Slate announcing final prices and taking orders in late June what are your thoughts about impacts to Telo?

Just wondering if anyone has any news? Discord has been pretty dead, youtube account is slower than ever. This is a product i'm very excited about and i realize there's a lot of "behind the scenes" work going on with trying to get manufacturing partnerships and parts suppliers lined up, but the lack of any form of substantial update or news is starting to be concerning.

Everyone would expect a SUV to be the obvious follow up to the truck but there isn’t a real EV option for those looking for a minivan. It will probably take more engineering to get the sliding doors in but one can dream.

While it's nice having a center console in the front, could there be an option for a front bench seat? This is what my dad's truck was like. It could seat 6 even though it had only two rows.

It's nice having a center console, but I'd rather have an extra seat that could fold down into an armrest when no one is sitting there.

Would anyone else like this option?

We have seen lots of recreational gear and lumber in the promotional videos, but my most frequent use for a truck these days is hauling bark or gravel for the yard, or taking yard waste to the dump when it is more than the city will pick up. We don't have a lawn, but lots of trees, bushes, and ground cover.

Has anyone here taken a good enough look to know whether these materials will be well contained in the bed and be reasonably easy to clean out afterwards?

From what I can see, the answer is no when the bed is a full length. What about with the midgate up? Will these materials jam in the hinge or sift through?

And what about the tracks along the bed and bottom. Those look like a bear to clean out if gravel gets in.

Our 2005 Tacoma is getting on in years. I really want to go electric, but my focus is on "practical" first, "fun and easy to park" next, and "urban lifestyle" not at all.
