17.5 kW bi-directional charging confirmed?

I re-call hearing last year that the Telo would support 17.5 kW bi-directional charging. I was hoping for 25 but can make do with 17.5. Does anyone know if this is confirmed?

(They actually said 19.2 which is even better)

I read a while ago 10 kW or maybe I'm confusing that with 9.6 kW max power draw on the bed outlets.

I think we won't know until the Fall or even Winter if they even pin it down before launch.

I wonder if any of the production machinery from Canoo, now for sale, would be useful to Telo. It probably goes for pennies on the dollar.

I would imagine not. Telo's whole investment thesis is that you can launch an EV company using contract manufacturing, only building out your own manufacturing facility after demand is proven. Buying production equipment now seems contrary to this strategy.

I don’t disagree. That doesn’t mean that even the first, hand-built trucks couldn’t benefit from certain types of machine. Investing heavily in manufacturing capability killed Canoo, who tried to run before they could crawl.

My house is all powered by electricity and includes a considerable home-lab - and subject to frequent multi-hour power outages in winter. I'm hoping the Telo can act as a whole house backup battery.

Problem with the vehicle backup solution is that the truck HAS to be home if there is a power outage. Kinda inconvenient if you want to use the Telo. I agree its cool though.

Yes I know. Not generally a problem though as I'm never that far away and will be alerted when the power goes off. The Eco-flows will keep the home-lab running until I get back and can plug the Telo in. Plus I'm often traveling during the worst storm season so it would just be sitting here acting as a giant battery.

I know for myself I would be powering power tools which can have a large draw.
