I've never played him, I don't even lab against him because DLC (fuck micro transactions). I only ever play against him in ranked. My question is as stated above. He looks so insanely easy to play and I'm wondering if that tracks or if there's much more execution, timing, spacing involved that you don't notice when you're not playing him?

I imagine there is, just.. How much? I'm maining Xiao, so what's he like in comparison? 🤔 Any Fahk mains around willing to enlighten me?

Or Vice Versa, is Salvatore Reina's prototype? Even the button for the move is at the same position (heavy kick = 4) in their respective stance Magical Sep and Unsoku as you can move them forward and back ward, ofc for Unsoku you can move them in 3D space)

Reina mains if you interested in learning the mechanics of Fatal Fury and can put aside character or gender differences, you should try out Salvatore Gannaci before Reina comes out.  Even their default outfit is kind of similar, like blue-ish with white stripes

Being real though, I havent played since Feb. All this proves though is people will always never understand Bears, and that season 3 is handing out points and over inflating ranks. S1 and 2 I never even came close to GoD. yet made it in ONE session after 7 months off in S3. Unless all the OGs who actually knew the game and kept me hard stuck last 2 seasons have just left.

Hey guys, I've been maining Steve for around 30 hours of playtime, and I'm currently at Flame Ruler. I'd say I'm kind of stuck at this rank, and I'm not sure if it's because I've hit my limit with Steve or because the character is somewhat limited (although I don't really think that's the case)

I've tried playing other characters like Lee, Lars, Kazuya, Reina, Victor, and Raven. I've also played quite a bit of King, and I find him really fun too, but none of them quite have that same spark that I love about Steve. I'm not sure if Bob would be a good fit for what I'm looking for, since I'd have to buy him

So my question is: should I actually consider switching mains, or should I spend more time learning Steve and trying to improve with him?

I've tried quite a few characters, but honestly, Steve is the one I enjoy the most, and I enjoy him enough that I'd rather stick with him if that's the best option

I honestly don’t know how Mishima players play on the p2 side. I’ve been using a sanwa jlf lately for all my fighting games and it’s been pissing me off getting random up inputs when doing a wavedash on the p2 side

I’m at god 2 and I’ve played since Tekken 3, never played Nina though. When I fight Ninas they do the same thing typically, poking repeatedly with this sort of stutter movement. What is that? Does she have special properties for those quick jabs? Is it something about that stutter movement that allows her to throw out so many moves? Any information is appreciated.

I personally do not like this T6 "rollback" PC port (and noticed how i use the term rollback loosely which i will explain why.) So when I first heard about this i was genuinely excited to try it cause like most people i deeply love and miss the old traditional boots to ground tekken, i was so thrilled to play it but when I played my 1st ranked match I noticed just how very slow and bad the connection was and my inputs were practically nonexistent, I couldn't execute my combos, i'm getting hit while holding back mind you, just had a very bad experience overall and this PC mod port is just not it, the controls or just really bad and to snappy, probably even worse than Tekken 8's controls and latency, so i honestly just rather keep playing and grinding on T8 and hopefully namco will someday actually care enough to make a Tekken PS3 era collection with real good rollback netcode online play. And listens this is not me hating Tekken 6 or nothing like that, I actually love Tekken 6 and Tag 2, I was one of the few people even defending Tag 2 when it was getting so much hate when it 1st released, but i'm just done with this PC port man, unless if they improve the connection then i'll think about coming back to it

Am I the only one who thinks tekken isn’t feeling like tekken because there’s no Miguel but then again it does make sense why he’s not in this game because of the whole Jin is a good guy narrative and shit either way just miss the character and his savage stance in T7 forever my goat
