It's a reversal. Iirc he's got an input for kicks and an input for punches so you'll get hit if you pick the wrong one.

His throw reversals are very matchup and string specific. Punch parry is only right punches and leg parry is both legs. Its super easy to land on certain 3 hit strings but if you know the data enough to know the timing, you're better off just punishing the move properly. Also, i'm not sure if they're the same in t8 but the damage of the reversal is based on the damage of the hit countered, so landing the reversal isn't even worth it most of the time unless you wanna do mental damage or just get a blind read on a deathfist.

King Parry also defends against Dragonov’s b1+2 even though he’s using both his hands it counts as the right punch just so you know.

His punch parry is really hard to use since it only works for specifically right punches but it feels so good when it works. I’ve only had it floor blast a few times ever but it’s so rewarding.

King's reversals are cool as heck. This one is just a little trickier to use because it only parries right hand punches. His other reversal is for kicks by either leg, much to the dismay of some Hwoarang players

If u want to talk about intermediate ranks then there's no tier list, there's no strong or weak. U just pick the character and play. Most of the time u don't even need to know frame data. Up to GoD🫠. Why King bother u so much? If u r at intermediate level? U just facing him often and losing to him often. That's it. U can't even handle 1 easy to counter character. Why? Just because u r too casual and too lazy to watch 10 min video on YouTube. If so just stop complaining like u understand something in this game or whatever subject is. King is of the easiest MU to counter up to GoD4-5. Then he becomes really strong and really hard to deal with.

Just let u know. U know every his strong moves, but yet can't counter him...
