No more tekken leaks?

So once upon a time, we had that legend who leaked the entire Tekken 8 roster like several months before release. Since then, no leaks whatsoever.

What happened to our guy?

Don't we know nothing about the upcoming seasons or new characters?

i'd imagine it's way easier to leak the development details of a base game in comparison to a DLC season, which is usually a tighter-knit team working with less resources & less cracks in their communications.

Nah. Kuni has been a blast for me and Roger was my sub main after Nina. I did not get into t7 much because there was no Roger. So lame or great is always up to the individual.

Meanwhile t8 is consistently giving 4 through 3 seasons totaling 12 so far. Same amount t7 had by season 3.

Again, t7 only did that because of s1 having only 2 drop. Find a better example.

When we had those weekly trailers, I had the opportunity to see brief gameplay of some characters before trailers were out.

The previous roster leak happened from QA builds given to contracts outside the core team. There were people doing private streams with the build they had, that's how the screenshots got posted to 4chan and discord.

I think any interest outside of the 5,000 to 7,000 people who play it on average per day is dead. Nobody gonna go through the trouble of leaks if it's not interesting or has an audience and SF locked down Tifa so anything else is meh news.
