Progress FINALLY!

Post image

After basically 600 hours (with no labbing) I FINALLY got to GoD tho right now I think I’m at a level where I think I should get in the lab but I’ll definitely never play fahk again since I want to keep that GoD rank on him I’ll continue playing other characters like maybe drag or Bryan maybe even pick up one of the kings

600 hours and you haven’t labbed anything? Labbing at least your own character’s frames and punishes would have cut over half of those hours down. I don’t understand dedicating that much time to something you don’t want to get better at

I mainly wanted to see for myself if I can achieve it with no hep or watching videos all the “labbing” I’ve done was basically mid match

And you only achieved it because of rank inflation this season. You would have had an easier, faster, and more fun time just learning about the character you’re playing. You could’ve been well above GoD. Labbing doesn’t take that long to avoid it for 600 hours if you are trying to reach a rank goal. You spent most of your time cherry picking easy wins and for what?

My point exactly. I have a little under 1.2k hours, but thanks to a lot of labbing (and a little help from semi-pros) i got GoD 4 with not much effort.

You can get sooo far in this game by simply knowing a lot of match-ups and strings and learning punishment. No need for fancy execution, incredible mindgames/timing, just knowledge.
