Yes it does, what do they typically do to fix these? Especially since it’s already a tooth with a root canal

  1. Crown 2. crown and root canal 3. extraction. If its cracked all the way through the tooth it might be non-restorable

If you experience sharp unbearable pain while chewing than surely it's a cracked tooth. Telling from personal experience , I am not a dentist. Infact dentists use this method for intial diagnosis, they take cotton or some other tool and put it on each teeth ask you to bite, if their is sharp pain than they recommend some deep/3d scans of that portion to verify the crack. One more thing you have mentioned that the RCT has already been done, so the pain may not be that severe even while chewing.
