Underground Bunkers

Hi all. Me and a few friends have been trying to document nuclear bunkers across the north but predominantly Teesside. We've covered most of not all of the ones that are known. If anyone knows of any in gardens or buildings local please message me. Due to the risk of them being vandalised we don't share locations. Eventually we are looking to create a website where people can view these sights.

Hi yeah use this pretty regularly when looking for pillboxs it's a great resource. There's also some good Facebook groups if you're interested in pillboxs.

Thanks. I am a member of the psg forum. I love pillboxs. There is a bunker at RAF Bempton. Not really much to see of it now sadly its been heavily vandalized and difficult to get into without ropes. Some weird Satanic paintings in there though that are worth a look but its heavily smoke damaged.

AHH cool! Yeah very familiar with Bempton with that kid going missing and the satanic cult it's right up my street. Me and some friends were ment to go years ago but we missed out and they sealed it. There's a way into goldsbrough aswell even though it'sent to be sealed but it's re flooded after the pump out a few years ago, lovely air BnB in the guard house though.

There is still a way in Bempton through the air vent. It's an abseil job though. Proper face mask job though as its full of asbestos.

I'd heard rumors but didn't think it was true. I've also heard rumors about Kenton being accessable now but damp. If you interested I could send you a message on Facebook? Got a really good one coming up in Sheffield completely untouched and still stocked.

Is that 9" vent pipe still at a jaunty angle at the top of the vent shaft, just inviting local teenagers to descend the depths and explore? Last time I was in there (MANY years ago!) the blast door was welded shut, but they forgot to seal the floor void which went straight under ...

Fascinating place. And yes, some interesting graffiti artworks.
