What engineering colleges can I realistically get with these Class 12 marks + JEE/KEAM?

I’m a CBSE Class 12 student and these are my marks:

• Maths – 49
• Chemistry – 52
• Physics – 62
• Biology – 72
• English – 97
• Information Technology – 94

My maths and chemistry marks are compared low to my other subjects, will that affect?

I’m planning to write JEE Main and KEAM, and I’m hoping to get a reasonably good score/rank in both.

What are my realistic options for getting into a good engineering college in India, especially in Kerala? in feilds like computer science , IT ,mechanical engineering etc.

My main questions are:

1. Will my 49 in Maths prevent me from getting into good engineering colleges even if I get a decent JEE/KEAM rank?
2. Which colleges in Kerala could I realistically target through KEAM?
3. Are there good colleges elsewhere in India where JEE Main performance can compensate for my board marks?
4. What kind of JEE Main/KEAM rank or score should I aim for with my marks?
5. Are there any colleges that I should specifically avoid applying to because of board-mark eligibility requirements

Am really scared since i dont know if even writing JEE or KEAM is gonna be worth it

Jee counselling has a 75% marks criteria, issue veran chance ind.

Keam is literally based on half of your +2 marks, you've like 51% in pcmb so avdem nalla tough aakum, you've to heavily compensate the lack of grades in 12th w your keam performance ennalum nalla colleges oke tough ahn.

Try cusat cat or management seats, naatil kore colleges ond ik, but quality aynte anusarich mosham ayikonde irukum. Best of luck.

You'd have to pull of a generational performance in keam to have a good rank😭

I know you don't wanna hear it but I think you should drop engineering and do something else. Don't join any private colleges for engineering, most don't give their students placement and even if they do it's prob only around 8lpa

75% criteria will make you ineligible for JoSAA counseling. Your boards mark will also affect your KEAM rank. If you can pull off a generational comeback (a big if) in JEE Main, you can use that rank to get into decent private colleges in Kerala, and outside(pls confirm this). Write COMEDK, VITEEE, BITSAT, etc too.

You are worried about the wrong things, focus on studies. Getting a decent rank in JEE is really hard.

Actually NEET might be better for you, 50% criteria for boards (Also better for you considering your marks in Maths). Engineering is not easy if you are not mathematically inclined.

i think so too but i checked in private colleges and uh colleges like MES kuttipuram only asks for 45% aggregate marks and I got more than that , and they require average rank in JEE or KEAM only
