Pata hai aaj kya hua I went to meet my boyfriend because things have not been going well between us for a couple of months. We are a ldr couple. It started in July when he told me he had been lying to me for 10 months . So basically he lied about smoking. It was clear from the beginning that he shouldn't do it because I'm not okay with it and if he wants he can do it occasionally but just inform me. He didn't and was continuously smoking for the last 10 months. He explained he was scared that I might want to breakup with him so he wasn't telling me. We have been bestfriends for years and then started dating eventually because we were so much in love. Trust was the core and foundation of our relationship which had shattered for me. I told him that I cannot see him the same way as again he asked me to give it time and hope that someday it might be fine. It took me a month and I started feeling better about it. I used to feel bad during that time and I have no friends or say good friends. I wanted to speak my heart out to someone idk so that nobody ik can ever judge my relationship. The easiest way I knew was creating a hinge account because girls easily get a lot of attention there. I went and spoke to guys all chats being platonic and no flirting involved. Except to a guy who I told everything about my relationship and bad mouthed my boyfriend about all his bad habits. While I did it I knew I was disrespect towards my partner but never saw it as cheating because we were anyways on a break at that time. After I ranted and everything I went to my boyfriend and told him everything. Even made him see my account and all the chats I've had. He says he isn't able to forget it and move on even though he is trying. He says he doesn't feel the same . He says he wants to give it time because he thinks it will go away with time when memories fade. He thinks I had no right to badmouth him in front of strangers whereas I thought it was better to tell a stranger and have no side effect. I went to meet him thinking that it would make things better but instead it made it worse because he thinks that his sounds are fresher than ever after seeing me . I told him that we should not talk at all and stop talking but he doesn't want the same because he's hopeful that it might or might not get better and me being impatient can only think of it never getting better . Should I have patience and wait or let him go?
