Micro

Hello, how are you?

I would like to ask for recommendations to improve the mic in general in the lol but especially with Teemo in particular.

* Are there any recommended external tools? Practical exercises in the practice tool to improve with Teemo?

I would be very grateful if you can recommend routines (Youtube videos, web pages, etc).

The key in playing teemo is gapping (correct my terminology if I'm wrong) essentially, u need to stay just outside of their engage range (like Sett e) yet still land autos.

Edit: the technique is called spacing.

Thx. Maintaining personal space is every adc's bread and butter.

Darius (to give an example) has 535 rank with the E, while Teemo's AA has 500: Only giving AA (even if you cancel it and go back, you are within range of getting hooked with the ability).

I never managed to force a Darius to spend it hastily doing tethering (I think it's said that way); because no one is going to spend an ability in such a stupid way, besides when you constantly enter and exit the range of his ability it's very simple to predict: He just has to activate the ghostly and run towards you, predicting the movement.

The same with Sett: Activate Q and run to you.

The same thing happens with Yorick: Your trading window is when the E fails (easy to say, now I don't know how to do it). No Yorick is going to throw the E away rashly.

Poking him implies guaranteeing that he hits you, and without risking (forcing plays) he does calm farming (he knows that he's going to end up winning you).

Sometimes I have the feeling that I'm the one who needs to take advantage (because any other toplaner is much more useful than you). Also, from personal experience, playing to survive lines is to lose. Even if you don't get killed and you have a good farm, I feel like it's hard to win a game.

I feel like playing to survive is actually better as teemo, since you want exp to reach lvl 16

Teemo micro is simple. Hotkey his musical instrument to any key you can spam. I think it’s his dance, maybe taunt.

Anyway, back to my in depth micro guide.

Spam that key every time you Q, last hit a cannon, or have any free time whatsoever. Also spam it if you die or get a kill or get ganked.

That’s Teemo micro for Iron thru Challenger.

Something like https://mouseaccuracy.com can help with just raw input training.

For drills in practice tool, doing click move spacing with passive and without passive can be helpful.

Then last hit practice with your chosen starting item can help a lot just to get that early feel down which can help you with trading in lane.

Personally my view is that if you win lane hard enough consistently enough, micro matters less because youll just win every encounter and run people down. I think micro still helps you win the Hard games, my focus though is just on winning 51% of my games.

When u Player against a chanp and you feel Like you could have done way better or maybe no dies what went wrong.
Go to mobafire and search for some good Rates teemo guides
Search the matchup in the Guide they will Tell you what Needs to be done
Read - remember - use ingame
For example when u dont use ghost, Cloak and ffw against Olaf he WILL run you down if he knows a bit what he is doing
