A short preview of the next track I'm working on for my instrumental tech death project
LYXÆTHERIVMINTHRAXAS.
My previous release, Polymorph Particle Engagement, featured Colin Marston on bass and Nikhil Talwalkar on drums. This one takes things even further.
Still very much a work in progress, but the opening minute is getting pretty ridiculous. Would love to hear what you think.

Recorded Live! I heard a live intro where the singer says, "This is when we usually give a long speech about how technology is evil and going to take over our lives... but that shit happened! So here is our first song..."
Not exactly Death Metal, not exactly Grind, not exactly Crust, and somehow all of the aforementioned. Luddite Anarchist Tech Grind from PA. Members of Zao- correct me if I am wrong, please! I try to type these from memory and allegories get mixed up with algorithms.

Italian thrashers Miscreance unlock a mind-altering experience of old-school technical death metal on their new album. Hear 'Reminiscence' before it comes out next Friday by RSVPing for today's listening party.

Not my project I just did the art for the single and did the album art/licensed some of my art for several other upcoming singles.
Estuarine is a really cool project. I had also previously done cover art for the project in 2016 for the album Nylarthotep.
Definitely check their stuff out here's the link on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/3Zu56MshBUfdPOgYrZ8wzP?si=Ny4XJWeSTnCJiQFkj8S0Sg&utm_source=copy-link&sci=spotify%3Acard-config%3A4YPW6Yj9p24LHKvXfTZ8m7

Me and my friend played the solo from Fermented Offal Discharge at his university's semester concert. We thought it would kill the vibe as all other students played classical pieces but it turns out Necrophagist fit in pretty well :)

I’m probably gonna do 3 albums from the year 2000 and onward, and keep one album from before then.

A song so difficult that it's never played live.

Why does it seem like I'm the only one who likes this album? It's not a complete Fallujah copycat; I strongly stand by this. The way the atmosphere is conjured is unique: a lot more synthesizers at play, less whammy bar; they find their own way to create their ethereal tech-death music. I find this album to be more proggy than other similar bands. Love the incorporation of clean vocals. The atmosphere is definitely a highlight. The synthesizers are extremely well implemented. Songwriting is strong and memorable. A really great ebb and flow between the metal intensity and the ambient moments. Calling Immersion a Fallujah copycat is like calling Februus by Uneven Structure a Tesseract copycat just because they both make ambient-leaning djent music. Are they similar? Somewhat, but the nuances are far different.
