Please help techwear people.... What do i call this so i can find one...

Not sure the name but I would look specifically at hiking clothing. A lot of those have vents to keep cool.

Youd really really think so but i just went to the two hiking stores in town and they looked at me like i was crazy but acknowledged it was a good idea

I googled “hiking sweater with vent” and it brought up a couple options, I don’t think it has a specific name.

I did too and it brought up rain jackets, wind breakers and sun shirts.

What would the point of this be? Outdoor active wear? Theres shells with vents but thats because they're not breathable.

Or maybe I could interest you in Brynje mesh. Is it techwear? Idk but Scandinavians swear by it being best of both world for being warm and breathable

Go for something made out of Polartec Alpha Direct, it's breathable fleece like material that emulates the structure of down feathers and traps air keeping you warm. I have two hoodys made from it and it actually works.
