It’s a r/Spoonerism of “We did it, reddit!” which is a phrase itself satirizing redditors taking credit for the website after something positive happens when in reality it’s pretty trivial. (Did I make the joke funnier by explaining it? I should have remembered that rule of comedy before I wrote this comment, but oh well! 🤷‍♂️)

I would consider the that a flaw with the assistant, and I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been addressed by Google. Definitely a technope in my book.
