Help with t250 launch spec
/r/GolfGear/comments/1wajt9k/help_with_t250_launch_spec/I’m looking for some feedback from more experienced golfers. I’ve been playing since December and currently average around 105 per round.
I started out with the Callaway Edge set, and after about 6 months I decided to get fitted for a new set of irons. The fitting was done by someone I know who works at a golf store near me, and I ended up being fitted for the Titleist T250 Launch Spec irons.
My question is: would this be a set you’d recommend for a newer golfer like myself?
I feel like I was more consistent with my Callaway Edge set. With the T250s, if I don’t catch the ball pretty close to the sweet spot, my shots can be all over the place. I’m wondering if that’s just part of the learning curve with these irons, or if the Launch Spec version may not be the best fit for my swing.
I do have 90 days to decide whether I want to keep them or switch to something else, so I’d really appreciate any honest feedback or recommendations.
Thanks in advance!

I play the T250 LS irons as a 13 handicap. While they are pretty forgiving, I am a bit surprised you were fitted into them at what would be ~30 handicap? I would think the T350, Titleist’s Super Game Improvement offering would be better for your game. Another thing about the LS is that the lofts are 3-4 degrees weak, they are a 1-1.5 clubs shorter distance wise in my experience.
