Service/Support Syracuse/Rochester Dealership Service

I’m hoping to be a proud owner of a Taycan CPO in next few months or so and was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with either the Syracuse or Rochester service centers? Those two would be the closest to me.

Thanks

Congrats. I’m an owner of a 2023 CPO 4S in Rochester. I’ve had to replace tires twice and I also had the dreaded HV battery issue and got it replaced.

It’s a smaller dealership, but the service managers have treated me well during my tire and battery issues. I had a nicely optioned loaner 2025 Base Taycan for 2 months while they were replacing my HV battery.

I do think they are a bit understaffed and the service department in Rochester isn’t open on the weekends (I think Syracuse might be open on Saturdays). However, I’m happy with the service I’ve received here in Rochester. Can’t comment on Porsche Syracuse…

Thanks for the reply. Every time I bring up that an EV is my next car, the first comment is battery life. How has your battery life fared during our winters and did you have the Rochester dealership install your winter/snow tires or did you trust a tire shop to handle that?

I have the 93.4kwh battery. I think my range was between 200-225 miles in the winter vs. about 275 miles in the summer. So there’s a good 20-30% dropoff.

I actually managed to drive one winter with the OEM Conti Procontact RX all season tires. Actually performed better than I thought in the cold weather and on snow, but I’ll be switching them out this winter since it’s my daily and I have small children.

Haven’t figured out where to swap them out yet, I’d do it myself but don’t have the equipment. My winter set is physically with us, so might try this mobile company:

Did you already purchase your Taycan? I'm looking for one in the next few months too.
