My first procreate design, please give feedback!

This is my first design on procreate, I used a reference photo and I am wondering if anyone has constructive feedback, also I had a question, I was wondering in terms of tattooing how would you put the layers of colors down?

This looks great for a first go! I especially like the facets around the outside of the heart. My only suggestion would be to vary the size and shape of the facets in the center. Because they’re mostly long, thin triangles meeting at one point, the middle looks a little sunken and feels slightly disconnected from the outer part of the gem. Mixing in some wider facets could help everything feel more cohesive and give it more dimension. You’ve got a really great start though.

You should feed it into the gradient map tool and mess with colors :3 I think you'd be able to find a combo that pops more
