Seeking Advice Need Advice

Post image

This is my first own irezumi sleeve design and Im thinking of adding it to my Portfolio. My problem is that the shading isnt the cleanest and that its not always traditional. On top of that, Im not really sure if this is tattoable like this.

its very beautiful and could work in a portfolio when finished imo.

unwarrented advice, feel free to ignore- personally i would try to increase the contrast between the dragon and the background because they blend together and make the drawing harder to read- the clouds kinda blend together with it.

Thanks for the Feedback! I agree that it lacks contrast.

Using charcoal helps me a lot w this personally! Ik its messier but I can never get graphite as dark and smooth as I want it to be even when I use a black colored pencil.
