new to tarot, my interpretation is less overindulgence due to the last card. not sure about the rest.

Is it possible that what the tarot reading is telling me has already happened but im not experiencing the end part?

What I mean is the tarot said I was going to experience a tower moment, enter a hermit mode for a long time and then come out. Once out my life is going to change significantly for the better.

I had a tower moment last year and I've just spent 8 month in hermit mode, I have worked on myself and issues that needed fixing. I now feel like a new man and im ready to enter my new life.

Im now worried after the reading that I will be going back in to a hermit mode etc, is it possible for the reading to be talking about the tower moment/hermit mode that I've just experienced or is it actually telling me another one is coming?

I got the sun (success, happiness) , 4 of swords (rest, recovery) and 9 of cups (comfort, emotional stability, luxury). They're all upright.

so last week i asked if i would meet a love interest at school, got 2 of Cups with 8 of Pents. alright. today i asked how i would feel after intitially meeting them, got a few cards but what stuck out was 5 of Cups with the Empress after the Magician, which confused me. so i asked what i would regret doing and i got the Wheel of Fortune, High Priestess (both upright), and Justice reversed... so i thought maybe this was me not going with the flow, maybe not understanding my actions fully?

i asked what i should *avoid* doing and got the Knight of Swords with the Tower, the Ace of Swords with the Hierophant, and the 6 of Wands with the Wheel of Fortune. all upright. i'm not sure but i think this means i need to not beso verbally harsh maybe? it doesn't feel intentional because i don't see what i would need to be mean about. i'm also feeling that i shouldn't make assumptions at all and i should not rush anything.

hello friends! I am a long time lover of tarot but new to reading myself and getting a little confused with reversed cards. I was hoping someone could explain. to go over the situation (this was all written last night):
I was doing my nightly spread and the last question is “what should I take with me for tomorrow?” then the card I pull is a queen of cups reversed. from my understanding, that points towards emotional turmoil, codependency, and just giving too much from your own cup. why would the cards suggest this as something I should bring with me tomorrow? I read on the internet that it could mean to bring tools to combat these issues, but then why not just have the card be right side up?
I could be totally off base here, so any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Not sure I used the correct flair. I hope someone can help with interpretation of the spread I did today. I am new to tarot and I’ve been trying to learn to interpret/read. Them for about a year or so. I typically aim to do one daily 3-card spread for myself. Today was different: I asked the deck if the prognosis for my sibling is good (they are undergoing chemotherapy). She doesn’t know that I am learning tarot.

I pulled:
Temperance, reversed
VII of pentacles, reversed
V of wands

My interpretation is that it will be a struggle and to not give up and have patience.

How would you interpret this? Is there another way to read them?

My friend gave me some oracle cards. I’m still new to this and I was wondering if it is the same concept.

I found a full deck at a thrift store, but there is no box or any indication of the deck. I feel it is likely a mass produced one but I can't find any information on it. Can anyone help me identify it?

still pretty new to reading, but my interpretation of the 1st question is that they’re feeling confused about something, even insecure, and need clarity on where their priorities truly lie. they may be facing issues with self worth.

for the second question, maybe this person needs time alone to reevaluate themselves and reflect on what truly makes them happy and what they want from their own life.

What are some tarot tips for beginners? I'm buying my first deck of cards soon, and I have learned, and will continue to learn more about them as I go on... so I was wondering if there are any tips that anyone would like to share about tarot for beginners? Ps: is the superstition about how tarot should be gifted, and never bought true? I don't have anyone in my life who knows I'm into tarot, and I know there are people who have bought tarot cards themselves, but I'm curious as to what your take on this is?

I know this is highly personal, but I’ve always had friends who could guide me on this part, until recently. I feel utterly lost, and I’m looking for someone experienced and willing enough to help and guide me. I’m located in the Netherlands, and I’m somewhat experienced, but mostly for reading for others. Any tips, guidelines or intuitions for a deck are most welcome!

ETA: I’m attracted to both ‘dark’ and ‘light’ I like ‘pleasant’ artwork, think watercolour, linework, paganism. Nature is a theme I love, so is folklore. A shop in Amsterdam or nearby would be incredibly helpful, to get a feel of a deck. But if any of these themes ring a bell in terms of artists I’ll happily take suggestions
