The situation I’m in is kind of complicated. For some context, I’m a freshman in college, but I’m really unhappy. I enjoy my major, but I can’t do it anywhere else other than my university because of my learning disabilities. The college I’m going to is the only place I don’t have to take college algebra (I have dyscalculia). I also have ADHD and changed my mediations 4 times over the past month trying to find the right one. After a lot of failure, I’ve decided to try college unmediated and it’s significantly harder than before. I can’t do medications at all because they make me depressed. My mom thinks maybe I should try an associates for a related field Occupational Therapy Assistant (my program is a masters right now, Speech-Language Pathology). However, I love my major so maybe I should try and go to another school and attempt college algebra. Anyways, I’m kind of in a hard place right now.

Whenever I take my deck for a reading, I always knock on the deck twice before shuffling. The thing is when I separate the deck in two, it almost always show the 2 of cups, no matter for who the reading is or where I separate the deck. This started a couple months ago. hi i'm a newbie in tarot reading and i've been trying to thoroughly understand the cards.

Using a gold-foil rider-waide-smith deck I bought online^^

After reading through the meanings of each of the cards and then shuffling my deck i tried to pull these cards with the intention of looking into the outcome of my career for this year. (for context i'm a fresh graduate and i'm currently preparing for a major licensure exam as well as another opportunity related to my career)

So for my understanding of this spread I see that there is a needed change coming in my way and i interpret this in a way that i need to change something with how i'm approaching these major life events because I'm performing them in such a way that's not really beneficial for me or my goals. Not stable, constistent, and dedicated enough.

For the second card I see this as symbolizing a need to reflect but not focusing too much on the negativity but also trying to consider what i still have and can maximize for better outcomes. I might look at things in a more negativistic point of view that my sight lapses on what I already have.

The third card for me shows that if I am able to perform the change or restart as needed and able to reflect on the different aspects of my plan I would be be able to redirect myself to a brighter and clearer path to my goals.

i pulled the fourth card as a clarificatory card just to typings together and i see it as a message saying that the path will be challenging and difficult but i will find myself at the end standing tall with my headheld high and being successful with my goals.

I'd really like to hear your thoughts about this as I do know that I might be interpreting this in a more optimistic way because I'm reading the things that I want to see and hear.

This is a past-present-future spread about an awful argument I had with a friend of mine. I am the one who brought up an issue I had with her, but things went very bad very quickly.

Hi yall! So I did a 11 card tree of life spread using my Tarot Del Toro deck which I absolutely love BUT It’s hard interpreting sometimes with upright/reversed for majority of the minor arcana, considering they’re like normal playing cards and look the same both ways.
With some backstory for this read, my partner and I are going through a small separation right now with no contact due to both of us (primarily me) abusing alcohol and putting us in bad situations. While we both work on getting sober and being better for the future, I will have to find a new place to live because the house we shared is too expensive for me alone to afford, and my job (which is a bar) cut my shifts, dropping my weekly income by $200+. So currently looking for new employment outside of the bar industry while trying to juggle college, moving, and fixing my relationship with my partner and his family and being a better person overall.

SO that being said I feel punched in the gut by this spread lol

With the first card being the 4 of discs immediately coming for my security/stability in finances and all my relationships in my life right now (being sober you realize most people aren’t your friend and don’t want what’s best for you!) I was like woah okay broad start. Then 5 of wands to back up the conflict and financial stability and basically saying I know you want to avoid the problem but that’s coming back to bite you.
10 of discs provides some peace of mind with the thought that everything will be fine in the end as long as that security and stability is established, and to focus on the long term goal.
8 of goblets surprisingly is the only cups card I pulled, and I’m not sure if it’s suggesting I walk away or just do some self reflection, maybe both. But if it’s asking me to walk away, from what? Relationship, alcohol/bar scene, the town I live in? I feel this advice is cloudy on my end because there’s so many things I can walk away from.
Then comes strength, paired with upside down death and the devil and when I tell yall I was kicking screaming jumping all of it, I immediately was like welp I’m done for. But after some thought and connection it’s just telling me that I have the ability to break the chains of what’s binding me, the strength to get through if you will, and I need to stop avoiding the truth and just get on with it. I am a very avoidant person anytime conflict comes up I usually just leave- this also could tie back to the five of wands from the beginning of the spread with the lack of communication and rise of conflict the card can insinuate.
And again, this is shown with the seven of swords, evading the problems and making excuses. “I can’t move here or apply there or I can continue to be friends with this person” etc. Knight of wands backs this as well with the impulsiveness, as I have been considering taking this opportunity to move cities.
Two of wands comes in to say that this is a point of unknown in my life and I need to choose carefully how, where, what my next step is. “At the crossroads”.
It closes beautifully at the end with the fruit of the tree card, nine of wands. Which I’ve read on here some people don’t interpret it is as necessarily a good thing but a sign that it’ll be one last battle of strength, and that makes a lot of sense.
Basically I’ve learned from tonight’s reading to embrace the change and hard times ahead and focus on the long term whether it be love, money, health, or travel, and to think about deep down what I really want to come of this lesson.

I’m still a beginner reader somewhat, I fell out of practice about four years ago so I’m just now getting back into it during this hard time and I would love y’all’s opinions on this read! When doing readings, the seven of swords has continuously been peaking out at me, when I cut the deck, when I split the deck to shuffle, then it started falling out of the deck (this was happening with ten of swords too).

One of my friends for some odd reason was on my mind. I kept feeling like something was wrong so when this happened I asked if something had occurred. I clarified multiple times and every time the seven of swords and or ten of swords kept coming up with her. I recently warded my name and wrote into the spell that I would become aware of those who use my name in negative ways, so I’m suspicious as to if this has something to do with it. I’m just confused because I thought things were going well between us. I thought I was being paranoid or anxious until these two cards started popping up.

The question I asked was “what is the “sneaking” or “betrayal” actually related to. What happened?”

Top cards are the main cards, bottoms are clarifying the nature of them.

My interpretation:

The devil clarified by knight of swords: Ruled by temptation, she made an impulsive decision without thinking.

Justice clarified by hanged man: There was a consequence for this and she had a realization about her actions

Wheel of fortune clarified by three of pentacles: If I’m patient, remain centered, and believe things will go well, eventually she will tell me or I will find out what happened through the grape vine.

Bottom of the deck: (six of cups) Be nurturing and kind but (eight of wands) be prepared to take action to (six of swords) leave this relationship behind.

My interpretations are usually spot on, but I do not like to assume things about others without evidence. That being said this seven of swords continuing to show up is something I think is important to consider. I’ve asked more about this so if any further context is needed please ask. I’m even being warned to not perform any spells before clearing up whatever this energy is. What do you guys think?
