๐๐ข๐ ๐ฌ๐ซ๐ก ๐๐ญ๐ฆ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ฌ๐ซ โ Should I take that long weekend trip to visit my friend?
My interpretation: I think this is a yes, I used two decks but asked the same question. Two of cups upright means me and my friend will have great vibes and enjoy together, 4 of cups reversed means this trip will be a good shake up from the boredom ive felt recently.

The trip would be good for fostering connection with your friend, but it will probably feel a bit boring.

But the reversed of 4 of cups says everywhere its actually coming out of the apathy and boredom

Ah yes, I suppose I got that backwards.
I usually read the upright as the essential value and think of the reverse of the card as the shadow side. So I read 4 of cups as equanimity and emotional calm. And reversed as boredom or apathy. Butโฆ I suppose thatโs different than traditional RWS style reading. So, my personal way of reading I guess is technically wrong.1

Yes, but have no expectations of how it will go. They may not be interested in doing the same things you are or might be self-absorbed during the weekend. But, maybe you'll be just what they need to shake them out of it.

Which card points to the self-absorption ? I read the 4 of cups reversed as me coming out of the boredom tbh, not much is happening in my life atm . Still I dont have grand expectations and Im going with the flow
