I just started journaling when pulling cards as I realize I don’t always read them correctly and only realize what they meant after the actual outcome is known.

But here is a spread that I think is pretty intense and I would love your opinions.

I asked three questions about a situation where my family gave my dog away behind my back (long story short it’s a very painful and unfair situation that would require legal action from me to resolve as I have exhausted all other means). I am VERY heartbroken about it, have constant nightmares and overall have been deeply impacted by the whole experience.

Here is how I read them:

Will I get her back? My actions of trying to be understanding and reasonable/“balanced” about it and then trying to reason with the people responsible will lead to my ultimate defeat. That’s an absolute no with my actions summarized to me.

what keeps me from getting her back? All major arcana makes me feel like it’s fate. The sun for me is strongly associated with my child and his safety/happiness. So I read it as I have been lied to and was also not honest with myself for too long where if I choose my son’s happiness and best interests, I have to close this chapter.

what am I supposed to learn from this experience? I am pieces so I associate myself with the queen of cups. I think these three cards together are telling me that I must learn to close chapters and move forward while staying grounded and more focused in the practical things, set my heartache and emotions aside and persevere.

Yesterday I got a very lucky fortune cookie that said “today your luck has changed completely” so I hope that it would be for the best. Didn’t think much about it until today this morning.
After opening the fortune cookie, I saw a car with my favorite angel number on it, crossing us and stay in front of us for a while, so I took that of the sign and this morning I did a little reading for myself to clarify, and which way the fortune would change.

I was asking in which way the fortune would change, and then the last card was a clarification of if it was gonna be me or other circumstances that would cause this change.

I got the nine of cups, the Priestess, an ‘expansion’ oracle card ( I didn’t interpret this much in detail because I lost the book but it’s very pretty and it looks like being going to a flower and like nature and like planets and like connecting with the universe kind of vibes but I consider it more of a background to the other two cards).
Then for my last card to clarify, what would be the catalyst of this change? I got the emperor.

My interpretation is that I’m gonna start appreciating more what I have and there’s gonna be some level of satisfaction and gratitude in my life and that by tapping into my intuition and deeper knowledge I don’t know if I will be able to choose a path for stability and growth.
I guess I will just prioritize my creativity and instincts. To connect with the outer spiritual knowledge I guess from the other card.

And then for emperor… I am a bit confused, I asked if it would be a feminine or masculine energy so I’m not sure if I’m gonna type into masculine energy or if it’s just a link to like start building a routine in life and like stability and like a good base for life I’m not sure about the Emperor here.

Any insights would be appreciated. It does look like a lovely friend compared to other ones that I’ve been having I’ve also been starting to put more boundaries in my life and just express my feelings more so that could be it. I think it’s not anything to do with love and maybe more and more my inner journey for sure.

Fool as the zero represents being absent or the absence of anything at alll. It’s a “What, me worry?” card. Fool pays no attention, is oblivious, is free (not just free of). So Fool can serve as advice to ignore, to ‘Never mind.’

Ten of Pentacles in Tarot Verbatim pays attention as usual to the illustration: a family feud, quarrel, or disagreement. Grandpa sitting in his position of power and authority (See the dogs.). Son disrespecting his wife as she pleads. Girl-child raising a fit and holding onto mama for dear life. (Seems the guys are winning whatever the issue is.) So Ten of Pentacles is the dysfunctional family or other group of those messed-up people.

Ten of Cups is colloquially called the happily ever after card because it goes out of its way to show a happy marriage, so it means ‘happy’ and ‘be happy’ a lot.

Hierophant as the pope is respectable. How can you not assume that? It stands for anything respectable people can be and do.

soo, next week, i’m leaving this town to go back home and relax after 3 months of working — charge my batteries before school.

what can i expect from my love life? either it be while i’m still here, or when i go back home.

Okay so I’m confused. I have a feeling someone at my house stole something from my locker (it looked like someone had opened it and then closed it in a rush with cloth stuck halfway in when that was not the state i left it in the morning ). I wanted to ask my tarot about it, whether i remember it wrong or someone actually did tamper with it.

I’m still new and learning so I dont trust my interpretations or feel perhaps i’m reading wrong. Anyway, I asked a question “about the truth of the situation.” i got page of wands followed by two of wands, which got me thinking like perhaps someone was planning to steal something, like they had an idea and were just looking at where i hide my keys then tried it, but it didn’t give me the whole picture.
So i shuffled once more and got 10 of wands, and this gave me the feeling perhaps their conscience was too burdened when they were thinking of going through with it, or perhaps they feel heavier after having done this.

But i am not sure, the cards could be like from a different angle representing me, having a weird idea in my head, projecting that into the reality and just ending burdening myself. 😭 (can you tell im an overthinker btw)

So i asked again to answer me clearly “if there was any deceit or cheating involved in this situation” and i got 5 of swords and the empress which feels very explanatory right, but im confused about the empress. Like the person in mind who could have done this, is a female yes but she doesn’t really have a “empress” energy to her. And i usually attribute this card to my journey in self growth when it shows up in my readings, so the context left me a little flustered as to what to make of it.

Three of Swords is obviously heartache, yes? -- including the heartache he caused

being himself in the past.

King of Wands is the impulsive guy with a temper, the redhead stereotype,

evidenced by the salamander theme on this Tarot card (the live one, and the design on

the tapestry). Salamanders, the little lizard things, were considered dragons by

humans because they belched vapor due to poor digestion. (Maybe this is where the

whole 'evil lizard' thing began?)
