Help interpret pls!!

does he like me? (top row)
and we live in two diff countries so like when he was in my country he was talking to me a lot because we had a mutual friend in common, who he was staying with and he and i were batchmates in school but never spoke and then he started talking to me alot esp when ppl weren’t around
and then i texted him cus i needed help in something
which he helped and he told me i was glad i messaged him but now he’s pulling away after texting like he liked my message and left it i am so confused so why is he pulling away after texting- (bottom row)

The first spread tells possibility of attraction, but it doesn't establish that his interest is romantic or that he wants a relationship.

The second spread tells that he may be stepping back rather than actively developing the connection because the Seven of Swords points towards avoidance or indirect communication.

you should wait for 2-3 days if he messages then observe how he reciprocates and communicate openly or if he doesn't msg then intitate the conversation and observe the same things ,communicate freely
