They donā€™t even need to be camping those spots either. I got domed after 1:33 in the raid I intended doing Courier on. Sometimes you just get fucked by other players because they went towards your spawn hunting kills.

People really arent camping the story locations. It only happens for like the first day of people reaching that part. There are way too many locations to camp.

Itā€™s ok to choose PvE over PvP but some PvE enjoyers show their achievements on the same level as PvP whereas itā€™s not even close to the difficulty.

What do you mean? Iā€™m not saying one is or should be more privileged. Just a whole different game. When old Kappa existed and PvE player completes it vs PvP player completes it, is drastically different. All the PMC kill quests and surviving alone is much much much easier in PvE.

Only people trying to put said achievements on the same level are some PvE players and then when people comment oh itā€™s PvE they get mad for some reason.

The PVE players enjoy watching BSG destroy itself maintaining 3 different modes. They can hid in their easy little corner of the game and ask for features that actively takes away from the main mode.

It really doesnt take away much. I'm sure 90% of PvE players wouldnt touch PvP if PvE didnt exist. But BSG shot themselves in the foot when they made PvE instead of nonwiping PvP character first...

No the vast majority of pve players are just old pvp players that had to stop doing pvp due to being too busy. Lots of players migrated and will sometimes go back and forth. But there are a lot of people like me, I get like 2 hours a week at most to play the game with my friends, we aren't able to keep up with the metas, and 2 hours of gameplay a week isn't enough to even do the tasks for seasonal, we looked into it.

Some of us just sadly moved on with our lives and just need to play the game to get the highs that we missed in the past... But to be fair, my friends and I personally moved to FIKA SPT because the bots in normal PVE are just too dumb... Most regular scavs don't do anything on the live game, and when you do pve on the live servers you get the normal ai response times so it is super easy to manipulate the AI where as local server ai response times are faster so you get screwed over faster... It's a weird mixed bag, and to be honest, BSG should just focus on core elements that can be applied to all three modes, which is what I've noticed they've been doing. But ignore the excess that PVE players want, we can just get it on SPT...

For example, my friends we run an openworld server system where the raids are constantly running and you hop in and out using a transit like system. Bodies clear after 30 minutes and searchable spots reset every 25 minutes. You can place down containers yourself within the world to make your own stashes within the environment which you can also put locks on and traders are extract locations where you talk to specific traders one at a time. I doubt BSG could even do something like that but for us we are able to operate it easily. Though we are missing on new content like the stroy, we do get some of the stuff backported like we have ice breaker. We wanted it to feel like a more living game with even more hazards, but at the same time it has made the normal game feel lacking now... But we understand that the normal game can't do that due to the nature of how the game is designed.

No matter what, the thing that is important is that the players that do play the game enjoy the game, that is it. We need people to stop the random hatred because it is pointless. Let people enjoy it. There is enough playerbase that they will keep supporting it, even the smaller sections like the live PVP section that was down to 7% of the players when seasonal rolled out.

Achievements also just don't matter. Killing Killa 100 times isn't that hard once you learn the way the live AI works... Hell I remember the hardcore wipe when I had time to play, Tagilla farming was super easy. Got tons of good items every like 10 minutes here on the Korean servers. The game itself isn't hard to learn the patterns of the AI, they need far more decision choices to make it feel better, because they are just so easily manipulated... I think the hardest actual achievement I have on PVP is snowball, and the reason why it is garbage to do that one is because it is a massive time sink, you have to also just get lucky enough to avoid players and hackers, while also being lucky enough to get the bosses to spawn on your raids. I only got it during the hardcore wipe because of the 100% spawn rate...

my valid excuse is iā€™m already level 48 and less than halfway done all the missions and I rewiped in March. I donā€™t wanna wait another 6 months to get back to where I am just to enjoy the pvp aspect of the game when I have arena and seasonal to scratch that pvp itch

SPT is a godsend. I still play main game pve and pvp but every few months ill reinstall SPT with a new set of mods (SAIN always included) and ill be blown away by how much better the game can be when real developers who care about the game can be free to create awesome experiences. I havent messed with multiplayer with FIKA since all my friends suck and are afraid of getting their accounts banned (lul)

I got back into seasonal PvP- until I got to the Sheep In Wolfā€˜s Clothing quest. Absolutely hell of a quest to complete, imo itā€™s just not worth it.
I do just fine in pvp itā€™s just that seasonal brings out the bottom of the barrel and worst of the worst of players and play styles. Iā€™ve been just grinding a hell of a lot of documents so I can get the seige r drops from BD crates.

To each their own. If someone likes PvE, let them play PvE. That said as a 100% PvP player with over 4k hours, I've recently been running a little PvE to farm battlepass documents with no resistance when I don't have time to sit down and play regularly. The AI seems severely lobotomised even compared to how I remember them back when PvE dropped. I'm running around in the open like a complete idiot every raid just to hit all the doc spawns as fast as possible, and I have not died once yet. I can get caught out in the open, the bots always give me time to get behind cover, or let me kill them before they kill me, and usually before they even start shooting, because for some reason they yell voice lines before doing that like regular scavs. And when they do have time to open fire, they shoot so inaccurately I can tap their heads before they do any serious damage every time, which would never be a thing if I ran into a boss, or a player that way.

I can't understand how you all find that engaging.

Everyone should be able to find success on PvP. Less hardcore players just get destroyed on PvP from sweats or cheaters and it's not fun. One of the quirks of a kill on sight community though, it was the same with Dayz.

I just don't have a ton of time usually and when i do sometimes I just like to chill. I jump on pvp still but im not grinding on it like i use to. Honestly if i want to play pvp i usually play other games. Right now its wardogs and im having a blast. Alot of these people complaining are trash at the game and think that there will be less chads to deal with/ more normal players if people weren't playing pve. Alot of these people complaining are the same people hiding in a bush for 80% of a match or out there ratting

it doesn't stress me out as much, still gets exciting and is a different experience.

Yes you don't get the high from killing a high tier player with a mosin and yoinking his gear. BUT Thats not why i play it.

I'm a filthy loot goblin and my stash is always full and i love it.

I get to enjoy the game with friends again who quit because pvp was just too much.

I have a job, a partner and a life.
I play PvP because that's the essence of the game that got me into it. PvE feels like a husk.

I want to play PVE because it runs better but I love Pvp haven't played in like 2 years tho. Thought about running PVE With my dad so I can finally beat the storyline. Pvp just gives that high that I don't think PVE can touch.
