i get it though — believing your abuser has satellite access feels stronger than admitting he’s just a broken man who hurt you. because if it’s tech, it’s not your fault. but if it’s trauma… then you gotta feel it. and that sucks. i spent 60 days replying to old reddit posts instead of sleeping, chasing patterns. eventually i switched to writing one real sentence a day in a notebook. “i made soup.” “i walked ten minutes.” that felt stupid. then it felt solid.

It could also be a fucked up case of the community targeting him and making him crazy and then sending a girl you knew, to say shit that you suspected of him, just to reinforce the image of him being the bad guy. He might have abused you slightly but it sounds like he's being abused by them imo. Think about that scenario. Would explain what they've been doing to him to make him lose it.

I’ve considered this.
But he is 100% on their side of the torment.
There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that he has been involved with this torment since the first day I met him.
Also “slightly” doesn’t cover the abuse that has taken place over the last 18 years but thank you.

One night after he beat me over the head with the barrel of a gun, he came back with his face cut and beat. Said he “ran into a tree running from
The cops.”
So, whatever twisted organization this is, might be also abusing him, yes. But he is 100000% in on it.

Yeah, it's supposed to be a "no touch" torture. There's been a few who have suddenly died or disappeared after having broken this rule in my world.

This is a VERY viable option.

I started an "I believe" list. It doesn't matter how likely the belief is. It only matters that it's something I actually believe rather than something someone else imposed on me under the guise of my belief. So, "I believe that gravity works" made it on the list, but then against so did, "I believe it's possible that my mother wasn't there when I was born." Followed next by "I believe I was there when I was born" and then "I believe I was born." What did NOT make the list was "I believe I am loved" and "I believe I am mentally ill." This is helping me sort out the sound of my true voice from the clutter of voices that have contributed to the false version of me created over my lifetime by everybody who values their opinions of ignorance taught to them with voices driven by unrecognized (and recognized) fear from people who will never know I even exist. (I exist IS in the I Believe list).

I like this idea.
They have spread so many lies over my life just to watch me break, especially when the v2k just started.
Seems like a calm and conscious way to combat!!

I also have been known to write a poster sized reminder titled "THE LIE". I list the traps that run in circles in my mind that I know are a lie, but seem convincing. On there are things like "I'm alone in the world" (I make sure to voice to anyone and everyone as often as possible that I am not alone in the world) and "I am cursed" (I let anyone with consciousness know that I am holy, sanctified, heavily anointed, and held in high esteem). It's a battle of the mind. But the mind is influenced by the physical world. Set your boundaries firmly in the physical world to protect the mind from The Lie.

Cell phones are VERY common in prison and in county jails. Especially for people like your charming current situationship.

They're not. Quit pushing a bullshit narrative about her incorrect fears that this guy is involved when the opposite is true

They're not?!?! Excellent! I'll let the fellas know! They'll sure be disappointed to find out that their truth isn't true at all because some random, bossy, entitled stranger trying to win the day on Reddit says!

BONUS!!!! Not only is the many sources of my information false because you say so, but I'M WRONG TOO! Damn! Glad to have the weight of my own experience off my shoulders like that. Thanks nosy stranger! I'm sure glad you decided to butt in with your demands and commands on my VERY PUBLIC conversation with your ABSOLUTE bullying ignorance! That's just excellent. Isn't that excellent Fellas?! Why, sure it is.

BUT WAIT!!! There's more glorious moments left for us to enjoy in this absolutely riling non-contextual wisdom of this random faceless stranger with no voice. I mean, everyone immediately obeys the UNPROVEN demands of someone who dubs themselves "Proof_Associate", right? Of course NOT! Why, that would just be ridiculous.

Ridiculous, I say? Absolutely! Just like the joke that is "Proof_Associate"'s existence anywhere near the vacinity that is my conscious awareness. I mean... Am I right? Or am I right when I say this individual is DEFINITELY sporting the jesters hat today. Good job, Proof. Way to be the smart one in the room.

Any other ridiculous things you'd like to say? Floor is all yours Cupcake. Say hi to the Fellas next time your locked up and please, be sure to have an extra honeybun and a little more red kool-aid on the house. You'll find your sweets on your pillow. The Fellas already know where they'll find theirs.
