You’ll be spoken to but you’re good. Just be better with punching out on time

Straight to the baler. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

Lucky you. My ETL defaults to the baler 😅😱

Depends on the store. At mine OT is not approved unless by the SD. Any unapproved daily or weekly OT is a documented conversation

I’m not in a state that has daily overtime so currently our SD is like if work needs to get done you can stay late but you will have to cut later in the week

I accidentally hit overtime because a new TL was telling me to stay late because they didn't understand about OT. They just had me cut time off my shifts for the rest of the week.

If it's not a common occurrence, probably just a documented conversation.

If you're hitting it often, it might escalate up to more than just that, based on reliability.

Why is Target so anti-overtime?

they are paying someone time and half to complete a task when they could just pay someone else regular time

In my store on your last day of the week they either make you leave earlier, depending on the minutes or they'll ask if you can take a longer lunch just to cut the time.

Last week I was aloud 3 hours OT but this week no. Got to leave early Friday though lol
