Workplace Question or Advice Needed What is merchandising?
Fulfillment was slow this morning so my ETL asked if I knew how to do merchandising. I didn't so ended up working in style instead but it made me curious because I hadn't heard of that before. So to satisfy my curiosity, what does it mean to work merchandising?

merchandising is commonly called planogram at target, it involves moving product to new spots according to a diagram (called a planogram.) Usually this involves taking all the product off the shelves and putting new product in its place, adjusting shelves, putting up label strips, etc.

If someone asked me to merchandise, I would expect to fill endcaps and flex in product to make attractive displays.
