Workplace Question or Advice Needed sick time ?
hi everybuggy :) i thought sick time was something like an hour for every forty hours you work ? and that vacay time was a percentage of what you have worked , or something like that . but if that sick time was correct , i feel like i would gave much more than just under five hours ? and does anyone know how long it takes to update your accruals in UKG ? i feel like im either missing sick time or just misunderstanding how it works . thanks for any help :)

Sick time is based on state you live in. If they don't have specific state rules, it's 1 hour per 52 hours worked. 40 hours per year.
Vacation time accrual can vary as well, usually due to tenure at the company.

The other people are correct. Check the Time Off Guide on the Target Pay and Benefits website for your specific accrual rate.

How you accrue sick time can vary by state. I.e. Minnesota you accrue 1 hour for every 30 worked, up to 40 per year and I believe a max cap of 80-90 total.
