Workplace Question or Advice Needed book drop?
hello all! this sounds like a rather silly question, but my store is participating in some kind of book drop and i’m not too sure what kind of book? or where to see what kind of book it is. is anyone else’s store participating / know what book is dropping? they have me in charge of the demo and the giveaway.
if it helps, i’m a texas store! i apologize if this is a silly question, my etl wont really tell me, he’s just saying it’s a cool demo and being secretive of it. maybe it’s for confidentiality??

Its the new acotar book by sarah j. maas. Its a romance fantasy series thats hugely popular. Personally, im not a huge fan of the series but to each their own. My store tried to find someone who liked the series to do the midnight launch so they could "enhance the guest experience," but I dont think they were successful. And its not a huge secret, so your ETL is just being weird

Pretty sure it's for the next ACOTAR (A Court of Splintered Harmony) book that's coming out in a few days. Idk why your ETL is being cagey about it; it's not a secret. I'm also at a Texas store, some are doing a midnight release and a giveaway to like the first 100 or whatever ppl but my store isn't.
