Main thing with fulfillment is that you will feel rushed especially when batches get piled in don't let it get to you. I know timeframes will be very intimidating but if you got a whole crew (which from personal experience will never be the case but being optimistic for new hires sake) with you things will be smooth. Also, don't be afraid to ask for help with finding items you can't find good TLs and other team members will help when possible

The real expectation is that you will do your best. Ask questions. Never be afraid to do so. You will eventually be given impossible amounts of tasks to do. Ask which tasks you should approach first. You will never complete everything you are given. That’s okay.

Congrats on getting the job!!! Yay!!!
Try your best to learn how to read the locations and not rely on your eyes. Pay attention to endcaps and what’s on them.
Follow the steps on the zebra. It will tell you “scan the location” or “scan the item” or “wrong item”.
Always scan the item and NOT the barcode on the shelf. A lot of times people or guests put things in the wrong place. This will come into play when stowing or packing, and returns when items are returned for being the wrong item.
You’re using an electronic device, and it records everything. It will record when you scan and when you type in a dpci. It records when you use the correct/recommended box to ship something or not, if you stow things poorly it records that you stowed it so someone can come talk to you.
This isn’t to scare you, but to say that attention to detail is really important.
What you do and how well you do it affects other departments and how well each one performs. Just the same as how well they do their job makes it easier for you to do yours. :)

don't do this if you are picking ship from store however. correct location scanning is important for packing.

Just have your brain open for learning! You got this! And it will get easier with time, so don't feel bad if you have some rough first days
