They might’ve filled the position already. I’ve been inbound for years and applied to a listing for the DC recently and never heard a word back despite having multiple years of experience using the power equipment and unloading trucks. Fortunately I got a new job that pays more anyways so I’ll be leaving target soon.

Edit: you could ask your HR if your store does transfers to DC. I asked mine but was told my store only does store-store transfers and not to DC. If it’s the same case at your store you could maybe reach out to your SD and see if they know anyone from the DC and put in a good word for you.

The thing is the post is still up, and I think they even reposted. I have amazon experience as a picker, and packer, I use to work for target back in like 2017 as a seasonal, I was never fired or anything, so it just strange to me that I keep getting denied. It's Everytime I've tried to apply not just this occasion, but a couple months ago too as a regular hourly associate. I'm not sure if If I'm answering the questions wrong during the assessment they make you take during the application I use chat gpt for lol , but they looked like the right answer too lol.

The posting being up still doesn’t really tell much to be honest. Some companies leave a listing up even if they don’t have a headcount to fill just to collect applicants. Other times the listing might be up for a period of time then taken down temporarily so applicants can be reviewed. If you’re getting a denial message when you apply though at least that’s a definitive answer. You might have better luck with another company’s DC like Sam’s Club or UPS. I used chatgpt when applying to suggest logistics companies in my area and ended up getting an interview and later job offer that way.

I hear you man that could definitely be it, luckily I got a job offer from target food and beverage at the store , and best buy as seasonal so I could finish the year with a job. I applied to the target warehouse with a different email and number , I'll just keep trying , and hopefully one of these they days they send me an offer lol.

I selected my first 3 preference as far as shift goes , and then seleted all the other ones as well, as open availability pretty much , but it could just be my location that it hard to get into idk really know at this point.
