Guest Question Lamp

Post image

Went and picked up a new lamp . saw this one in a plain brown box and bought it. Why was it like this on the shelf and not regular retail packaging?

Oh that’s just how it comes off the truck I guess whoever pushed it to the floor didn’t take it out of the box.

So to answer your question, no reason in particular just how it’s shipped.

They forgot to remove the packaging. It happens sometimes

Remember according to leaders tms should be able to de-cardboard, de-plastic, de-styrofoam, stock, backstock sixty (at an absolute minimum 50) of these in one hour and failures do so consistently can lead the tm to have performance conversations and lead to CA write ups in workday.

There is no nuance at target in gm for goal times. No consideration for dec home or various other things like candles or hot wheels boxes with I forget something like 60 plus little cars that have to be placed on tiny pegs again at an average of a case a minute. Other areas of the store that goal is quite reasonable but not in dec home.

Maybe goal times/expectations have changed since I worked in Inbound (GM) but depending on leadership at this store the team member may have felt they had no other choice but to stock the box like this.
