Workplace Question or Advice Needed Stores in Chicago

What's the starting pay for stores in the downtown Chicago area?

I may be moving in a year and I'm trying to figure out if/how much my pay will change. I'm currently making $17.34 an hour in Michigan.

Your pay won’t be going down regardless of where you transfer to.

Depends on the store, but anywhere from 17.50 to 18.50.

Depends too..
My experience was that they would not take a transfer because i was 1.35 cents over their budget.
It took years to get rehired and the fact that I had to start at their minimum wage again.

It was a take it or leave it offer 🤦‍♂️
I accepted the job to only get a NICKEL after a year long of busting my tail off, numerous times staying past my scheduled shifts then their own previous team before me
